Janmashtami greetings from Hamid Ansari

New Delhi:  Vice President Hamid Ansari on Friday greeted the people on Janmashtami.

vice-president-hamid-ansari“I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami,” he said..

He further said: “Janmashtami is celebrated across the country with traditional gaiety and enthusiasm, and it marks the birth of Lord Krishna and reminds us of his life and teachings.”

“Lord Krishna’s eternal message of spiritual wisdom, the Bhagvad Gita has been a source of inspiration for the entire mankind.”

“May this auspicious day bring peace, amity, harmony and prosperity in our lives,” he said.

Janmashtami is a Hindu festival, which is to be celebrated on September 5 this year.

Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu on Monday said that we should be proud of being Indian and there is a requirement to stop thinking along the lines of caste, creed, sex and religion.
Naidu, who was here for the platinum jubilee celebrations of R. A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics, also said that problems in the country arise only when people create divisions.
“We should all think in an integral manner and feel that we are all one. Irrespective of caste, creed, sex and religion India is one. We should be proud of being a Bhartiya (Indian) and there should be no problem in it,” he said.

New Delhi, September 25, 2017: The youth wing of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came out to protest against the University and former vice president Hamid Ansari who lately attended an event in Kozhikode held by Delhi Institute of objective studies.
The event was co-organised by National Women’s Front (NWF), the women’s wing of the radical Islamic outfit Popular Front of India to mark the international conference on “the role of women to make a humane society”. It has also been alleged that an Islamic fundamentalist organization, Popular Front of India (PFI) was also part of the organizing committee.
According to the reports, the criminal of radical outfit PFI was accused of cutting the hands of Professor Joseph for being offensive to the Islamic Prophet Mohammad. It has also been accused of accusing National Investigative Agency over controversial ‘Love Jihad’ cases.
