46-year-old Indian Man found Hanging from Tree in Sharjah, UAE

Abu Dhabi, Nov 24, 2016: A 46-year-old Indian man was found hanging from a tree in Sharjah, UAE, media reported on Thursday.

The body was spotted by a driver passing by the Al Sajjah area, who immediately called the police, the Khaleej Times reported.

A team of forensics, CID, patrol and ambulance reached the spot and removed the body — hanging from a wire — and retrieved fingerprints and other relevant evidence to investigate the death.

Initial investigation revealed the man was working in a factory located in the Sajjah area.

The body has since been shifted to the forensics department for further investigation and family members of the deceased have been contacted. (IANS)

UAE-based Aries Group on Saturday announced it will use its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds to produce 1,000 regional films in the next five years under its “Project Indywood”.

The project will be launched with the pooja of a film titled “Aickkarakonathe Bhishaguaranmaar” at Punalur near here on Sunday, said Aries Group Chairman and CEO Sohan Roy.

“‘Aickkarakonathe Bhishaguaranmaar; will mark the launch of Project Indywood’s ambitious plan to produce 1,000 regional movies in India in the next five years. Besides prominent actors from the industry, twenty talents discovered through the national-level auditions conducted by Indywood Talent Hunt will play important roles in the movie,” he told media here.
