Aamir Khan Meets Film Regulator Official of China

The actor said that he would like to share his filmmaking experiences with industry colleagues from China, seek inspiration and create more excellent works

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan met a top official from China’s film regulator here last week and discussed cooperation between India and China in making films.

The actor is immensely popular in China for his movies like “Dangal”, “Secret Superstars” and “Three Idiots”, among others.

The Information Office of China’s State Council announced Aamir Khan’s meeting with Wang Xiaohui, Executive Vice Head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Director General of the State Film Administration on Tuesday.

The meeting was held on Friday.

Wang discussed the development of Chinese films and said he hoped that China and India could strengthen cultural exchanges and cooperation, share excellent films, carry out in-depth cooperation in making films and encourage filmmakers of both sides to produce more quality films.

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo on Monday confirmed that its next flagship product, ‘OPPO Reno Ace’, would be launched in China on October 10.

According to a recent Weibo post by the manufacturer, the device will have 65W fast-charging capabilities and it would be first smartphone to feature the world’s fastest fast charging technology, news portal GSMArena reported.

The device is also rumored to sports a 6.6inch FHD+ curved edge display with thin bezels with 90 Hz refresh rate, up to 100 per cent screen space and one can expect a pop-up or an under-screen camera selfie shooter.

The device will be powered by Snapdragon 855+ chipset, 12GB RAM, 256GB onboard storage, a 4,000mAh battery and it supports 5G connectivity.

Other details about the smartphone’s specifications are currently under the wraps.

Meanwhile, Oppo launched its Oppo Reno2 series of smartphones in August which consists of Oppo Reno2, the Reno2 F and the Reno2 Z handsets. (IANS)
