Credihealth announced the launch of a range of support services linked to COVID-19 for citizens across the country.

India’s leading healthcare portal, Credihealth, today announced the launch of a range of support services linked to COVID-19 for citizens across the country.

As the COVID-19 pandemic grips the nation, there is a serious need felt for bringing timely, nation-wide access to COVID-linked healthcare services. “The society is inquisitive and apprehensive about the recent developments around COVID-19 and what they require is a platform where both these issues can simultaneously be handled with ease and comfort. While they require updated content as to what, when and how the COVID-19 virus functions within a human body, at the same time, they must also be educated about what ones needs to do in case of symptoms,” said Ravi Virmani, Founder, and CEO of Credihealth. “Hence we have brought together under one care platform, a range of services which include COVID-19 screening tests by our partners, same-day pharmacy solutions, air and road ambulance service across the nation,” he added. The platform also hosts a bevy of content pieces that encompass basic ‘do’s and don’ts’ for the patient under quarantine and his caregiver and how Credihealth can bring the aforementioned services to them. Virmani further adds, “We’ve been an undisputed leader in managing the end to end patient experience for the serious illness and patient admissions business, and our recent foray in the COVID-19 space is a natural progression at these trying times for everyone. We’ve accumulated our knowledge base and large network and brought them forth for the patients in need, all under one easy to access platform.”

Credihealth is India’s leading online health portal.

The brand has also put out a dedicated team of highly qualified and trained COVID-19 Care Managers who assist susceptible patients or those who require any of the aforementioned services.

Speaking about the recent development and the new initiatives, Gaurav Gupta, Senior Vice President – Market Development said, “Today, consumer-facing health technologies need to reinvent their offerings according to the need of a patient experiencing social distancing and locked-down state of affairs. Hence, we have expanded our services in COVID-19 screening tests, pharmacy, diagnostics, critical care assistance, home care aid and equipment delivery at doorstep, mental wellness and counselling among others.”

Last month Credihealth had launched its dedicated tele/ video consultation service with some of the leading private hospitals in the country. Through that service, patients can now contact over 2500+ doctors from 50+ hospitals in the country – by far the largest network in the nation. The brand claims to handle more than 500 tele/ video consultations per day and is gearing up to scale that number upwards of 2000 consolations per day.

Irrespective of the age of your child, it is vital for parents to offer that extra support and assistance following an unsettling event.

In comparison to adults, children are prone to getting traumatized by troubling events easily, and this makes it important for parents to help their children when the times are tough. It could be a brutal accident, an unprecedented pandemic, a violent crime, or other disasters but with the right parental support, children have a higher chance of coming out stronger from an awful situation.

Anuja Kapur, Psychologist shares few tips wherein you can assist your child when tough times comes calling:

Every child responds differently to disturbing events:
What children feel about a current disaster in their life and how they react to it can come and go in waves. Children can act moody and withdrawn at times, struck with sorrow and fear at other times. There's no absolute "right" or "wrong" way to feel after a traumatic event so make sure not to dictate what your child or how your child should feel and react to the event.

European consumers will be able to use a single charger for all their portable electronics - an important step to increase convenience and reduce waste.

The European Commission, the executive arm of the European Union (EU), has announced plans for smartphone and other electronics manufacturers to fit a common USB-C charging port on their devices in an effort to reduce waste. In addition to phones, the rules will apply to other devices like tablets, headphones, portable speakers, videogame consoles, and cameras, reports The Verge. The decision will have a huge impact on Apple, as the company still uses its own Lightning connector to charge iPhones. The proposals only cover devices using wired, not wireless and a USB-C port is only mandatory for devices that charge using a cable.
