Disney Plus Unveils Full Lineup of Shows, Films and Specials to be Available on Platform When it Launches

Disney Plus has revealed the full lineup of shows, films and specials that will be available on the platform when it launches on November 12.

In its first year, Disney Plus will release more than 25 original series and ten original films, documentaries, including ‘The Mandalorian’.

Some other popular TV series that will be available on day one include ‘Lizzie McGuire’, ‘Recess’ and the animated ‘X-Men’ series.

It will also feature top titles from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, NatGeo and more, The Verge reported on Monday.

Other titles include 2011’s Thor: The Dark World, 2013’s Iron Man 3, 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy, 2015’s Ant-Man and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Disney Plus will be available at a $6.99 monthly rate or $69.99 for a year, the subscriptions come with a seven-day free trial.

Disney Plus will initially be in the US, Canada and the Netherlands. It will launch a week later, on November 19, in Australia and New Zealand.

It will be available to stream through smart TVs, web browsers, and on tablets, mobile devices, and game consoles. (IANS)

“For me, the yardstick of success has never just been about how much money a project makes. I would love to leave a body of work that I’m proud of because I stand for cinema that’s different, that tries to makes you think. I want audiences to always think that I took the risk while trying to give them different cinema,” Ayushmann said.

The actor, who is currently gearing up for the release of his next “Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan”, feels that the audiences are tired of the routine and as an entertainer, he is only trying his best to give them films that they have not seen before.

“For me too, it’s a learning process and I’m constantly evolving as an actor with every film,” he said.

Ayushmann feels happy that he is an actor in today’s progressive day and age.

“As an artist, I’m fortunate and privileged to be living and working in such times. I’m proud of my country and industry for the progressiveness that it has shown in the recent past and I’m grateful that I’m part of such a vision like ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ that tells us about important life and societal lessons,” he said.
