Global wearable brand Fitbit on Wednesday launched its new fitness band Charge 4 with features like built-in GPS, Spotify, sleep tracking and other new features.

Charge 4 will be available for Rs 14,999 in black, rosewood and storm blue/black.

The Charge 4 Special Edition will be available for Rs 16,999 in an exclusive granite reflective/black woven band plus a classic black band to easily swap out for workouts or a sportier look, the company said in a statement.

Charge 4 includes Fitbit’s Active Zone Minutes, a new personalized standard based on users resting heart rate and age that tracks any workout that gets heart pumping, from indoor biking to yoga, measuring the time spend in each heart rate zone toward a weekly goal of 150 minutes.

It also features a relative SpO2 sensor, which powers Fitbit’s Estimated Oxygen Variation Graph in the Fitbit app. Additionally, Charge 4 is powered by up to seven days of battery life.

WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will make it easier for users to add contacts to their list by scanning a QR code.

According to a report in WABetaInfo, a fan website that tracks WhatsApp beta, QR Code scanning was first introduced in the iOS beta and now has made its way to the Android beta of the app. The feature is available in the 2.20.171 version of the app.

Android beta users will be able to find their own custom QR codes in the Settings section of the app on the top right side in front of the name.

Users who have enabled the feature will be able to display their own QR code to others and scan codes of other WhatsApp accounts.

The QR codes can be revoked if users decide not share their number with someone else anymore, the beta notes confirm.

Going through the patent images, the device may be the Huawei MatePad T, which is an affordable tablet under the 5G tablet the Chinese tech giant launched previously.
