Banana Walnut Shake
Half tropical cup banana,
peeled and quartered
1 cup milk
2 tbsp walnuts
4-5 ice cubes
Honey to drizzle
Method: Chop the banana and walnut. Add the mixture to Tupperware Quick Shake, pour milk, honey and ice cubes and shake well till well incorporated and serve immediately.
Tip: Complete food for the nerves, muscle, immunity and brain to save them from damage and boost recovery.
Ultimate Green Smoothie
1 cup soy milk/almond milk
1 cup spinach leaves
1 tbsp peanut butter
Method: Add the spinach leaves banana and peanut butter and finely chop. Add ice cubes to quick shake add the above mix and soy or almond milk and shake well. Serve chilled.
2 cups water
1 Tsp tea leaves
2 tsp sugar
4 green cardamom
1 pc Cinnamon stick,
4 to 5 strands saffron (optional)
Oil pulling is regarded as an ancient Ayurveda treatment that dates back to more than 3,000 years.
Considered as a detoxification therapy, it is done by taking a spoonful of cold pressed virgin oil (preferably coconut oil) and swishing it in your mouth for about 5 minutes, similar to using a mouthwash. The purpose of oil pulling is to swish the oil around in your mouth, between the teeth to get rid of bacteria in the mouth, spit it out and immediately rinse with some warm water.

BY ARCHANA SHARMA A COVID-care centre in Dungarpur district of Rajasthan has emerged as a role model by setting up new benchmarks as it offers music, meditation, aerobics along with the choicest of menu for the people staying here!
Called as Parda Chundawat Quarantine Centre, it has set example by creating a serene environment where people wake up listening to soothing music. Then, there are Yoga and meditation classes where they exercise to shoo off negativity from their mind.
In fact, the daily schedule of those admitted here is quite impressive. They wake up listening to melodious bhajans at 6 a.m. Soon after, there are two yoga classes — one for the people who love to do indoor exercise while the other for those who are interested to do yoga under open sky.
All guidelines of social distancing are followed by the people while performing yoga.
Soon after Yoga, they go for aerobics where they stretch their body rhythmically on different music beats. Thereafter, they get breakfast of their choice and are served lunch in the afternoon. As they take nap in afternoon, the evening time at 5 p.m. awaits for another interesting activity where they listen to their favourite songs of renowned singers including Kishore Kumar, Rafi, Asha Bhonsle, Lata Mangeshkar amongst others, while sitting together.
Special games and activities are available for kids which include spelling, synonyms, pronunciation, painting etc. Kids find this environment really engaging, says Sabhla sub divisional officer Manish Faujdar who is in charge of this centre.
Also, there are psychological experts who help in counselling. “People coming here are quite worried about their future life, their spouses and families. These counsellors help them connect to meditation with scientific facts which make them feel joyful and relieves them of their stress,” says Chhaya Choubisa, assistant director, Information and public relations, Dungarpur.
Faujdar says that when admitted, these people were quite aggrieved and angry. “We saw an unseen fear in their eyes and mind. Therefore, we introduced a few activities which can make them relieved from their stress, offering mental peace to them. We wanted to divert their attention and hence launched music therapy. We connected the music system to youTube where there were bhajans in morning, filmy songs in the evening and Aarti and patriotic songs later. Eventually, their anger vanished and they look joyful now with no stress or anger seen amongst them.”
Anyone arriving in the UK from abroad could be fined 1,000 pounds if they fail to self-isolate for 14 days, the government is expected to announce on Friday.
Under the plans, health officials would be able to carry out spot checks to check whether people were complying, the BBC reported.
The new rules, which will also apply to British people returning from abroad, are not expected to come into force until next month.

As part of the plans, which are aimed at guarding against a second wave of coronavirus infections, any passengers arriving in the UK by plane, ferry or train would need to provide UK Border Force officials with an address where they will self-isolate, otherwise accommodation will be arranged by the government.
Road hauliers and medical officials would be exempt, as well as those arriving from the Republic of Ireland.
However, people travelling from France will not be exempt, the government has previously confirmed, after it was initially suggested otherwise.
Airlines have already warned quarantine measures could make an already critical situation worse for them, as air travel has plummeted by as much as 99 per cent due to the pandemic, the BBC reported.
But Number 10 had previously said the measure would be reviewed every three weeks once it is introduced.
