Los Angeles, Sep 18 : Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra stepped out in a figure hugging white custom-made Balmain mermaid creation at the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards.

She took the stage alongside Anthony Anderson to present the Award for Outstanding Variety Talk Series to John Oliver for “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” at the Microsoft Theater on September 17.

At the red carpet, Priyanka made heads turn with her full-sleeves ensemble, which was adorned with crystals and had a feather skirt train.With her hair neatly tied in a ponytail, her lips done up in deep berry red and dramatic eye make-up, the “Quantico” star exuded a fierce and powerful demeanour at the red carpet of the gala.

In terms of accessories, she chose to go minimalistic with only a pair of earrings which added elegance to her look. Last year, Priyanka had made her debut at the Emmy Awards and left a lasting impression with a confident twirl in a red single shoulder gown. (IANS)

China, November 19: India’s Manushi Chhillar won the coveted Miss World 2017 pageant, 16 years after Priyanka Chopra won the title in 2000.

Chhillar competed against 108 contestants from various countries at a glittering event held at Sanya City Arena here.

Miss World 2016 winner Puerto Rico’s Stephanie Del Valle gave away the coveted crown to the winner.

Chhillar, who is from Haryana, had earlier this year won the Femina Miss India 2017.

India, England, France, Kenya and Mexico grabbed the top five spots at the peagant.

Manushi, born to doctor parents, studied in St. Thomas School in New Delhi and Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women in Sonepat.

Her entire family including brother and sister were present and they looked excited watching Manushi grabbing top five spot.

As many as 108 beauty queens from different parts of the world participated in the prestigious pageant. (IANS)

New York, November 3, 2017: Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who has been named among the world’s most powerful women in Forbes magazine’s 2017 list, says she feels honoured.

Priyanka is at number 97 in the list, which also features personalities like Ivanka Trump, Indra Nooyi, Oprah Winfrey, Queen Elizabeth II, Beyonce Knowles, J.K. Rowling and Taylor Swift.

 The “Mary Kom” actress on Wednesday night shared a clipping of the list on her Instagram profile.

“Honoured to stand alongside these amazing trailblazers, who show us everyday that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to and that it’s ok to stay true to who you are. Here’s to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them. Power women, Worlds 100 most powerful women. Forbes,” Priyanka captioned the image.

This is not the first time Priyanka has featured in a Forbes magazine list. In September, the “Quantico” star featured among the highest paid TV actresses.

The actress’ friends and colleagues from the Hindi film industry like Rajkummar Rao, Dia Mirza and Tara Sharma Saluja congratulated her on her achievement.(IANS)

New York, November 1’2017: Actress Priyanka Chopra says the attack in Lower Manhattan took place just five blocks away from her house here.

“This happened five blocks from my home. As I drive back home from work, dreary sirens remind me that this is the state of the world. NYC. Peace,” Priyanka, who keeps juggling between India and the US, tweeted on Wednesday.

 Eight persons were killed and 12 injured after a truck ploughed into pedestrians in Lower Manhattan in New York on Tuesday. The suspect has been arrested.

Priyanka, who is currently shooting for the third season of the American crime drama series “Quantico” here, also paid her condolences to the victims of the tragedy.

“NYC. As resilient as ever. I love you. My condolences to everyone affected by this tragedy,” she tweeted.(IANS)
