Tesla Motors was established with the goal of developing an electric sports vehicle

Tesla, Inc., previously known as Tesla Motors (from 2003 until 2017) was established in 2003 by an engineering group that sought to demonstrate that electric vehicles do not need sacrifice - that driving electric vehicles can be faster, better and more enjoyable than gasoline automobiles. It is an American business, headquartered in Palo Alto, California, United States.

Tesla develops and produces powered vehicles, home-to-scale battery storage, solar panels and solar roof tiles, as well as associated goods and services. Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning, two American entrepreneurs, founded the Tesla Motors Corporation in 2003, naming it after Serbian-American inventor Nikola Tesla.


Tesla Motors was established with the goal of developing an electric sports vehicle. As per sources from Britannica, earlier in his career, Eberhard served as Tesla's chief executive officer (CEO), and Tarpenning as its chief financial officer (CFO). The business was funded by a wide range of sources, most notably PayPal's co-founder, Elon Musk, who donated over $30 million and served as the company's Chairman, starting in 2004. According to Musk, Tesla is aimed at speeding up the transition to a sustainable transport and energy generated by electric and solar cars.

In 2004, Musk joined engineers Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning to assist operate Tesla Motors, where Musk was an essential component for developing an electric vehicle called Tesla Roadster. Although Eberhard was dismissed by the company in 2007, Musk took managerial authority as CEO and product architect after many disputes. Tesla has become one of the most popular and desired automobile brands in the world under his leadership.

He is one of today's top entrepreneurs. He now works as the CEO of Tesla as well as the CEO and main designer of SpaceX. Musk acquired a rigorous work ethic (he is reported to work up to 80 to 120 hours per week). He is projected to have a total net worth of $151 billion as of 2021 and is only exceeded in wealth by Jeff Bezos.

TESLA IN INDIA:

Tesla has entered India as the World's premier electric vehicle producer, and has signed up as a firm in Bangalore in Karnataka. In this industry in India and particularly in the EV (Electric Vehicle) category, Elon Musk headed Tesla will be a lot more competitive. Tesla will, for apparent reason, be bringing excellent competition in the Indian market because Tesla is now the world's leading manufacturer of electric cars. It is obvious that Indian firms will gain from the entry of Tesla into India.

On 8 January 2021, with Rs. 15 lakh of permitted capital and RS 1 lakh of paid-up capital, Tesla registered its Indian subsidy with the Company Registrar (RoC) in Bangalore. Tesla India Motors and Energy LTD. has been opened in the city centre, with Vibhav Taneja, Venkatrangam Sreeram and David Jon Feinstein as its directors. Taneja is the CEO of Tesla, while Feinstein's is Tesla's CEO, Global Trade and New Markets. Sreeram has also served as director in Xenon from April 2014, while in August 2020, Clearquote Technologies India Ltd has been director in Xenon Automotive India Ltd. In order to commence its activities in India, Tesla will also contact other governments like as Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.

TESLA SHARE MARKET:

Since June 2010, Tesla Inc. is the U.S. manufacturer of electric cars listed on the Nasdaq bursary. The Share Market of Tesla has a $416.2 billion market capitalization. On June 29, 2010, the original Tesla public offering (IPO), which was $17 per share, was issued. The firm never paid a dividend, but since then its share price has increased. Tesla generated a total turnover of 6 billion dollars and a net profit of 104 million dollars for the quarter ending 30 June 2020. Tesla recorded a financial loss of 408 million dollars in 2011, while YoY's revenues fell 4.9 percent. Geographically, Tesla produced 51% of Tesla's sales during the quarter of the U.S. home market, or $3.09 billion. China is Tesla's second biggest market with a 23% or $1.4 billion stake in sales.

She is also shooting for her next 'Tejas', where she plays a fighter pilot. The Indian Air Force was the first of the country's defence forces to induct women into combat roles in 2016. The film takes inspiration from the landmark event. 'Tejas' is directed by debutant Sarvesh Mewara.
