The pigeon was found by the Border Security Force in India's northern Punjab state near the scene of a recent attack on an air force base by Pakistani-based militants.

"We took it into custody last evening," Pathankot police inspector Rakesh Kumar told AFP. "The BSF found it with a note in Urdu saying something like [bctt tweet="'Modi, we're not the same people from 1971. Now each and every child is ready to fight against India.'" via="no"]"
The note was signed by the Pakistani-based militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba, Kumar added.

This was not the first time a bird was found carrying a message for Modi. Last year Indian authorities captured a pigeon they believed might be carrying a camera or some kind of transmitter.
