Who doesn’t like Bollywood Movies? They are so quintessentially Indian that we can’t help but love them. They are a great source of entertainment.

Bollywood is one big and popular industry and every year it produces movies, some of which makes us think and others which makes us cringe. From social issues to totally nonsensical plots, Bollywood movies have it all.

Here is the list of Bollywood Movies to be released in 2018 for which we are waiting eagerly :

2.0

The much-anticipated remake of the super hit movie, 2.0, will star megastar Rajnikanth, Akshay Kumar, and Amy Jackson. This science fiction, the action film is one of the most highly anticipated movies which audiences are eagerly waiting for. It will release on 25th January 2018. Check the trailer out:

Padman

This movie’s inspiration is the life of Coimbatore based Arunachalam Muruganantham, a man who found a way to make affordable sanitary napkins for women in his village. Directed by R. Balki,  this movie stars Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in the lead roles and is highly anticipated. Check the trailer below :

Chanda Mama Door Ke

This is an upcoming sci-fi Hindi thriller, where Sushant Singh Rajput will play an astronaut. Directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan, this movie is said to be the first of its kind which makes it one of the most awaited movies of 2018. The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, R. Madhavan, and Saif Ali Khan. This upcoming Bollywood movie will release on 26th January 2018. heck, the trailer here :

Fanney Khan

The remake of the Oscar-nominated Dutch film, “Everybody’s Famous,” Fanney Khan is a musical comedy which features Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles. The star cast and the story make it much anticipated. The movie is expected to release on 13th April 2018.

Pari

Pari is a thriller drama starring Anushka Sharma. This movie is her third venture as a producer.Her co-actor will be Bengali actor Parambrata Chatterjee. Prosit Roy is the director for this much-anticipated film. The movie is scheduled to release on February 09, 2018. Have a look at its first look now:

Kaalakaandi

Kaalakaandi is another much awaited Bollywood Movie of 2018.is Directed by Delhi Belly fame director, Akshat Verma, it features Saif Ali Khan in the lead role and shows a closely knitted tale underworld goons, doomed bankers and idealistic lovers in the city of Mumbai. This is a dark comedy thriller, which is expected to release on 12th January 2018. Have a look at its trailer here :

Aiyaari

Aiyaari is a much anticipated Bollywood movie by the director of films like Special 26, Baby, etc., Neeraj Pandey. Starring Siddharth Malhotra, Manoj Bajpayee and Naseeruddin Shah in the lead roles, the film is about what a soldier does when ultimately faced with a crisis. The movie will be a thrilling ride for the audience and will release on January 26, 2018. Check the trailer below :

Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi 

Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is directed by National Award Winning Director Krish and stars Kangana Ranaut in the lead role.  It is an  Indian epic biographical film about the life of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi with a budget of 75 crores. This Bollywood movie is much anticipated and is set to hit the theaters on 27th April 2018. Check its digital poster below :

Udanchhoo

Udanchhoo is an upcoming Hindi Feature Film, starring Prem Chopra, Ashutosh Rana, Bruna Abdullah & Saisha Sehgal.  It is a con-comedy set in the metropolitan city of Mumbai, directed by Vipin Parashar. It is expected to be really entertaining and will release on 5th January. Check the trailer out below :

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday that Indian film fraternity is at the forefront of showcasing the country’s culture globally.

Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated the National Museum of Indian Cinema (NMIC) in Mumbai.

On Sunday, Director-actor Kunal Kohli posted: “Had the privilege to meet our honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

To which, Modi replied: “I enjoyed interacting with you and other members of the film fraternity. This community has been at the forefront of showcasing India’s culture internationally.”

According to LocalCircles, each person who voted in the survey is registered with the portal with their detailed information and in many cases they shared their residential address.

The Prime Minister also responded to veteran singer Asha Bhosle and thanked her “for gracing the programme. The entire nation looks up to you for your stupendous contribution to the film world”.

Comedian-actor and producer Kapil Sharma wrote to Narendra Modi that it was “great knowing your inspiring ideas and progressive views about our film industry and our nation. Sir, I must say you have a great sense of humour too.”

To which, Modi said: “When Kapil Sharma appreciates somebody’s humour, it sure makes that person happy and I am no exception. Thank you for the kind words Kapil.”
