Many people have misconceptions about cryptocurrencies and its security. SafeMoon and Samoyedcoin, two well-known names, have faced questions about their security and legitimacy. HUH Token, a new cryptocurrency set to launch on December 6th, has taken notice of the scepticism and distrust that has surrounded the cryptocurrency sector. As a result, the cryptocurrency has decided to take matters into its own hands and created a bug bounty programme.

What Is A Bug Bounty And How Does It Work?

If you're unfamiliar with the term "bug bounty," it's a programme used by websites, cryptocurrency, software companies, and other organisations to see if people can hack or report problems and vulnerabilities. In the case of cryptocurrencies, hackers are invited to try and crack the coding in smart contracts. The bigger the bug, the higher the reward given.

HUH Token is announcing a bounty to encourage others to join them on their journey and to help them establish a harmonious environment. The bug bounty offered by HUH Token is as follows:

  1. You can freely explore different attack vectors as long as there are no major drawbacks for the HUH ecosystem.
  2. HUH websites or infrastructure in general are not part of the bounty program.

The founders of HUH Token expect that the HUH Nation community will progressively become more involved in HUH's governance. Pull requests for the bug bounty campaign documents are welcome here: bounty@HUH.social

What Does HUH Token Have to Offer?

The rules below dictate reward sizes; however, they are ultimately set at the sole discretion of the HUH bug bounty panel.

• Extremely important: up to 50,000 points

• Maximum: 3,000 points

• Up to 2,000 points in the medium category

• Low: 400 points or less

• Keep in mind that you can get up to 100 points.

1 point presently equals 1 USD (payable in cryptocurrency), however this could change with three months' notice.

The Legal Aspects

The legal side of a bug bounty isn't the most intriguing part. However, if you want to take part in the bounty, you must first understand what to expect. So, to summarise, the bug bounty programme is a rewards programme for the HUH community to promote and reward individuals who are working to improve the ecosystem in every way possible. The HUH bug bounty panel has sole discretion over the payouts. Individuals on or in countries on the UK sanctions lists are not eligible for HUH grants. All prizes are governed by the law.

What Is the Importance of Bug Bounties?

It's difficult to overestimate the value of a bug bounty. Developers use it to improve their security and demonstrate the strength of their contracts and software. It's a tremendous accomplishment if a cryptocurrency launches a bug bounty and receives little reaction.
