ASUS Launches its Flagship Gaming Phone

ASUS on Thursday launched ROG Phone — its flagship gaming-focused, designed for high-performance mobile gaming and epitomical smartphone experience.

The ROG Phone is available for Rs 69,999 on Flipkart.

The device comes with ROG gaming DNA at its core and powered by the world’s fastest speed-binned 2.96GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip with gaming-optimised Qualcomm Adreno 630 GPU, the company said in a statement.

The phone has a unique “GameCool” vapour chamber cooling system, with detachable “AeroActive” cooler for an extra cooling boost.

There’s a tough, precision-crafted front 2.5D Corning Gorilla glass 6 and rear 3D-curved Corning Gorilla glass 5 with diamond-cut highlights and copper detailing on the device.

The ROG phone sports a big 4000mAh battery and ASUS “HyperCharge” fast charging lets the phone to charge from 0-60 per cent in 30 minutes.

The design of ROG Phone includes unique side-mounted ports and responsive game controls, including two programmable ultrasonic “AirTriggers” and advanced force-feedback haptics.

“Qualcomm Technologies and ASUS have enjoyed great successes over many years and we are thrilled to be at the core of their newest cutting-edge device, the ROG phone,” said Don McGuire, Vice President of Global Product Marketing, Qualcomm Technologies Inc.

The company also claims flagship audio quality with the dual front-firing 5-magnets speakers powered by dual “NXP SmartAmps” for an immersive audio experience.

The company has announced a no cost EMI for all credit and debit cards.

ASUS on Monday showcased a new lineup of professional and gaming displays at CES 2020, including the ultra-portable ZenScreen MB16ACE and all-around solid TUF Gaming VG27AQL1A.

The new ZenScreen MB16ACE is a portable 15.6-inch Full HD display that effectively doubles available workspace when using the monitor in conjunction with a typical 1080p laptop – meant for business travellers.

It weighs 0.7kg (1.56 lbs) and comes in at just 8mm thick. It also comes with a new and improved smart case.

It features an anti-glare IPS panel that is TUV Rheinland-certified for flicker-free operation at any brightness level.

Meanwhile, the TUF Gaming VG27AQL1A aims at demanding gamers with an all-around combo of fresh styling, a high 165Hz refresh rate and incredibly low response time (1ms MPRT), IPS display for vivid colors and wide viewing angles, a GPU-friendly 2560×1440 resolution, and the unique ELMB (Extreme Low Motion Blur) Sync technology from ASUS.

According to the company, a host of exclusive features in the VG27AQL1A aim to give users full control over the display: GameVisual has six display presets to optimize visuals based on the game or application currently in use, while GamePlus adds persistent visual elements to the screen, like a crosshair or FPS counter, with just a few clicks of the display’s 5-way OSD joystick.
