An eminent film director Vivek Agnihotri and his team deserve the high respect and gratitude of every single citizen of India. Their courage and determination have now awakened and inspired millions of others. It is for their dogged perseverance and consistent efforts the "suppressed" truth has finally been pulled out from the coffin of "silence". Now only, the general population has come to know from 'THE KASHMIR FILES' how brutally the throat of humanity was strangled in the land of enlightened sages in early 1990.

The film of 170-minute, it so moved the audience that most of the people found themselves shedding a rain of tears all through the show. I was also one of them. Of course, I have wiped my tears dry, but my heart is still weeping. There were several video clippings that went around in which many people got emotionally overwhelmed after watching the film. It deeply touched me. Some even sobbed hysterically, particularly those Kashmiri Pandits and their families who had suffered or witnessed the unimaginable cruelty and diabolic bloodshed. One woman artist from Madhya Pradesh has drawn the full poster of the film with her own blood. How can one forgive and forget the perpetrators who shot dead, small kids, hapless mothers and submissive Kashmiri Pandits in cold blood? The fact that this heinous saga of bestiality is not much heard across the country then itself clearly puts the entire political leaders, administration and media journalists into question. Those who remained silent and gagged the media were equally guilty of complicity in this despicable crime.

Well, as the scenes from the movie haunted me for several days, I looked up towards heaven and threw a few of the questions at GOD! How on earth His certain believers can take others' life who wish to follow HIM a little "differently". How can every chant of "holy phrases" spell disaster for fellow human beings? Is dogmatic religious indoctrination not the biggest threat to mankind? Should the pathway to HIM not be strewn with flowers of compassion and love rather than the thorns of hatred and enmity? I am totally confused.

One strongly believes that compassion towards others and purity of heart alone must be the fundamental doctrine of all religions. Is the omniscient Super-soul not approached with the hymn of devotion instead of the roar of bigotry? How can hurting the WEAK pleases HIM? In what way can the genocide of other races guarantee the heaven afterlife? If it is really so, I will stop praying to Him! If it is really so, I will stop calling him the merciful CREATOR! I rather prefer dying as an atheist with compassion than believing in Him and nursing hatred for others. Oh God please open your files!
