Raksha Bandhan Celebration with the poor children: An initiative by Any Body Can Donate

Kolkata: On the auspicious day of Raksha Bandhan, the members of Any Body Can Donate (ABCD) celebrated the festival with some street children of Rashbihari areas in South Kolkata.

The program was attended by some fifty odd street children of the area, and they kept the crowd entertained with their performance.

The members felicitated the children with some gifts and they announced scholarship for three children. The organizations will take the full responsibility of their education with continuing to give free tuitions to these children.

In an interaction with NewsGram, the founder of ABCD, Atanu Acharya, said: "In India every year thousands of children are dying for hunger and the government becomes reluctant to look after these small children. So the organization is determined to help this neglected class of the society and in the future we have a motto to reach to every areas of India".
