Indian Start-ups taking Active Participation in ‘London Tech Week’

• 20 Indian start-ups have participated in the ongoing 'London Tech Week'
• The companies were gracefully welcomed by the founder of Cobra Beer, Lord Karan Bilimoria, at the House of Lords this week
• These companies also come together to become members of the India Emerging Twenty (IE20) program which was initiated by London & Partners (L&P)

London, June 15, 2017: More than 20 Indian start-ups have enrolled themselves to be the part of the ongoing 'London Tech Week'. These companies reach out to the masses covering the fields like travel and dairy tech and have participated with the view to conquer new ideas of international expansion and diversification.

These companies also come together to become members of the India Emerging Twenty (IE20) program which was initiated by London & Partners (L&P), Sadiq Khan's business and promotional agency. It is a globally recognized platform which promotes the interests of the Indian organizations helping them to expand their establishments worldwide.

The companies were gracefully welcomed by the founder of Cobra Beer, Lord Karan Bilimoria, at the House of Lords this week. He said: "The IE20 initiative is a wonderful way of highlighting the amazing entrepreneurial talent that exists in India, one of the fastest-growing economies in the world. India's young and dynamic entrepreneurial growth is the driving force behind India's growth as a country. IE20 are shining champions of India's growth story,"

According to PTI, these companies had gathered and attended the launch to meet the tech enterprises and leading business companies in London. They also came there to attend skilling up session with Lord Bilimoria and entrepreneur's champion Shalini Khemka.

"The IE20 is proof that London's relationship with India continues to grow and it is fantastic to welcome so many of its fastest-growing companies to our great city.As someone who arrived from India 15 years ago with just 200 pounds in my pocket, before setting up my own successful companies, I know from first-hand experience that London is the best place in the world to do business," said Shalini Khemka.

Shalini Khemka too remarked. "This is an excellent opportunity for the winners, India's most innovative start-ups, to champion Indian entrepreneurship in the UK."

As per informed by the London & Partners (L&P), there has been overall development in Indian companies since 2005 across all business sectors who have willingly invested in London. Besides this there has been approximately a 117 per cent increment in tech companies investing in the city accounting for about 45 per cent of all projects. Major tech investing Indian companies in London include software testing service Cigniti Technologies, customer support company Kayako and many others.

Last Year about 345 Indian companies entered the IE20 programme which accounts for the increment of 100 companies from the previous year. LatentView Analytics and Curadev Pharma, are the latest Indian companies introducing abundant job opportunities in its initial years.

"IE20 helped us with recognition and credibility among prospective clients," Vijay Ganesan, Business Development Manager at LatentView Analytics, said IE20 is an initiative aimed at high growth, knowledge- based companies formed after 2000.
