From Saas Bahu to Queer: Ekta Kapoor’s ALTBalaji in Pakistan comes with Fresh Concepts

New Delhi, June 23, 2017: You glued your eyes for years, watching daily soaps from "Kasauti Zindagi Ki" to "Kasam Se" and now the same entertainment company, "Balaji Telefilms", brings its audience fresh concepts. The best part is that it won't be a dream for the audience living beyond the border. Whatever comes between the two countries, society is same everywhere and this brilliant step by Ekta Kapoor is applauding. ALTBalaji, the third Video on Demand Platform in Pakistan after Netflix and iFlix, it offers freshness to its shows.

Unlike the daily soaps that run for around 10 years, it follows the concept of 10 episodes per season. Interesting, right? Well, I am definitely looking forward to it.

The joint managing editor of Balaji Telefilms, and daughter of none other than, Jeetendra Kumar, Ekta Kapoor said in an interview, "hopefully, there is something for everyone. There is a big world between Narcos and Naagin, and we hope to capture it."

Well, every good thing comes with a small price. But not to worry as it is very nominal. ALTBalaji allows you to see 5 episodes out of 10 for free and then with just $4.99, you can subscribe to unlimited shows and movies for three months. Now that is really cheap!!

Who can imagine in a traditional society as ours, two men or women kissing each other, but these progressive and fresh concepts are the USP of ALTBalaji.

There is this adaptation of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" with a name "Romil and Jugal". Guess what, it's about two boys who fall in love with each other and struggle to safe their not so accepted relation in our society. Obviously, something to look forward to.

There are many such shows with unique and different approaches. Let' s see how the audience accept these shows.
