Choosing the Right Stream After 10th

It's that time of the year where the students have completed their 10th standard board exams and are anxiously waiting for their ICSE, CBSE results. It is also the time in which these students have to make a life decision regarding their career path, in order to shape their future towards their passion and goal. Normally, students are not aware that the stream they choose after their 10th standard is the first step towards shaping their future, making it a critical and a crucial one. Often this choice is made immaturely, where the students choose a specific stream because their parents want them to do so or because they don't want to leave their friend circle, etc. resulting in the students hating their subjects or having to drop out midway. They do not actually spend the time to think about how this choice should be pondered over and decided wisely after analyzing oneself and researching about the right stream that would be well suited for the student.

Certain instances where the student isn't convinced and confident about the path to be chosen even after having discussions with teachers and seniors, in that case, the student can meet a career guidance counselor in which they help the student to know the right stream through scientifically designed and formulated methods. Another advantage of attending career guidance, educational fairs and seminars will help the student to explore career choices and plan their next step.

4. Decision making and taking an action:

This is the final stage while choosing a stream after all the knowledge is gathered and obtained through various means. It finally comes to making your own decision which would shape your future. One can be successful in any career if one puts all their interest and effort to be the best as there are lots of opportunities. Hence, choose wisely and stay focused.
