Rajasthan, August 31, 2017: In today's era of electronic messaging and social media connectivity, scribbled letters have turned almost superfluous. However, such is not the case in this distinguished Lord Ganesha's temple.

In this temple, the postman delivers about a 1000 letters every day. The address of the temple reads: Trinetra Ganesha Temple, Sawai Madhopur, Ranthambore, Rajasthan, 322021

This popular temple is located in Ranthambore Fort and is known as the Trinity Ganesha Temple. The priest presents all the hand written letters to Lord Ganesha.

It is believed that Lord Ganesha, popularly known was "Vighnaharta" (remover of hurdles) eliminates all the problems of the worshippers and fulfills their desires written in the letters. These letters are then recited by the clerics of the temple.

Marriage invitations are posted 15 days prior so that it can be offered to the deity in time.

One night, King Hammir dreamt of Lord Ganesha, who assured him that all his problems would be resolved. The temple was constructed in the 13th century by King Hammiradeva after Lord Ganesha came to his dream.
While Hammiradeva fought the battle with Jalaluddin Khilji for several years, he ran out of funds and capital.
Right after the dream, King Hammir won the war and constructed the temple devoted to Lord Ganesha in Ranthambore.

The Trinity Ganesha's temple is the only temple to house Ganesha's family with idols of his wives- 'Ridhi and Sidhi' and his two sons- 'Shub and Labh', along with his sawari – mushak (mouse).
