Karan Johar recalled his first meeting with Shah Rukh Khan

Director Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan recently produced movie Ittefaq starring Sonakshi Sinha and Sidharth Malhotra. Both the producers decided not t hold promotional events in a shopping mall as it would lead to the revelation of movie's suspense.

Recently in a small promotional event of Ittefaq, Karan Johar recalled his first meeting with Shah Rukh Khan in the office of director Anand Mahendroo to audition for his show Indraprastha. There he saw Shah Rukh Khan sitting on a sofa sipping tea. As the director Anand was in his shooting Karan and SRK had to wait for his work to get over.

Meanwhile, SRK was sitting and enjoying tea after tea, as soon as Anand's shoot was over, Anand came and walked to SRK and told him that it was a bit late on his part to meet him. SRK replied in a very soft tone 'Nahi nahi koi baat nahi. I love the tea in your office. It is really delicious, and thus I could relish and gulp a few cups. But I waited only because I wanted to tell you that I will not be able to participate in this show. Thanks a lot'
