Eyebrows have been a huge beauty trend this year, so if you’re still struggling on how to perfect your own, follow the basic steps, says an expert.

Rabbia Aslam, creative director of Hena Salons and Clinics, says that one of the best ways to flaunt the perfect eyebrow is the threading technique.

To create the perfect brow to suit your face shape, the secret is marking the points of where they should start, arch and end according to your facial features, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Here is what Aslam shares

– Step One: Book in a full brow consultation!

A consultation is a great way of ensuring that you get the exact results you desire. Your consultant will talk through your past treatments, your previous method of hair removal and preferred shape. They can then advise you on how to get the best results in time. It is important to have realistic expectations, for example, if you have a thin shape eyebrow and fancy a change, actress-model Cara Delevingne’s bushy brow is unrealistic.

– Step Two: Get the colour!

Tinting can help to enhance the colour of the brows, making them more noticeable and giving them more definition. Tints come in a variety of shades so be sure to choose the right shade to match your colouring.

– Step three: Threading

The great thing about threading is the technique, it is so precise and this type of treatment removes the hair with minimal irritation to the skin. Best of all, one treatment can last up to two weeks. To create the perfect brow to suit your face shape, the secret is marking the points of where they should start, arch and end according to your facial features.

Great historic events that have shaped the world and changed the outlines of countries are often not recorded in memory, or so we think. Wars made sure to destroy evidence and heritage, and the ones who survived told the tale of what really happened. Ringa-ringa-roses, a common playtime rhyme among children across the world, is an example of folklore that has survived for many centuries. It tells the story of the The Great Plague of London which ravaged the city between 1665-1666.

Certain tribes have remained matrilineal, where the decision-making power rests with the eldest female of the family.

In modern times, many social movements aim to bring reform to the society we live in, on the basis of certain existing patterns. Patriarchy is something that many aim to cleanse our cultures of, to usher in the era of social and gender equality. Despite all these so-called movements, in southern India, certain societies that patronise matriarchy have existed since before India's independence. The Nairs and Ezhavas of Kerala, and Bunts and Billavas of Karnataka are matrilineal societies that continue to thrive in a patriarchal country.

Kerala remains separate from the rest of India in many ways. Be it literacy policy, form of government, or cultural practices, this state does not always conform to the ideal that India is known for. Even so with their social structure. Certain tribes have remained matrilineal, where the decision-making power rests with the eldest female of the family.
