Mumbai, November 2,2017: Hollywood director Paul Feig of “Ghostbusters” fame on Thursday said Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is a gift to the world.
Feig, whose wife Laurie is an ardent fan of Shah Rukh and his work, on Wednesday shared a birthday message for the actor, on Twitter.
“Happiest of birthdays to you today, SRK! You are a gift to the world. Hope to see you soon, my friend,” Feig, who has also helmed films like “The Heat” and “Spy”, tweeted.
Back in 2016, when Shah Rukh had hosted a star-studded dinner party for Apple CEO Tim Cook, Feig’s wife had tweeted: “Some day I hope Paul Feig can be welcome at Mannat! Dream, Shah Rukh Khan.”
Shah Rukh had then invited the couple over for a meal. The director had then responded: “You’re on, Shah Rukh Khan! I’ll bring the ketchup. It would be an honour to meet you. Many thanks, my friend.”(IANS)

Mumbai, Dec 22, 2017: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has hailed Hugh Jackman and said that the Hollywood actor always inspires him with his performances.
“My love and thanks to my friend Hugh Jackman for always inspiring us with his performances. You are ‘The Greatest Showman’ in Wolverine’s clothing,” Shah Rukh tweeted on Friday.
Directed by Michael Gracey, “The Greatest Showman” is a period musical drama film, which also features Zac Efron, Michelle Williams, Rebecca Ferguson and Zendaya.
Jackman, who plays the role of P. T. Barnum in the film, had earlier praised Shah Rukh at the Sydney premiere of the film.
According to media reports, Jackman said at the premiere: “I have done a lot of dancing and singing in this film and I had Shah Rukh Khan in mind while shooting for it. He is my mentor and I need to take more dance lessons from him.
“I have also done the signature SRK move, spreading my arms wide. I would love to see Shah Rukh in the Indian version of this film.”
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh, who is currently seen as the host of “TED Talks India Nayi Soch”, said the show is making him a better person.
While replying to TED Talks curator Juliet Blake on Twitter, Shah Rukh wrote: “It’s all your hard work Juliet Blake and tenacity. Hosting ‘Nayi Soch’ is making me a better person. Thanks for watching.” (IANS)

Mumbai, Dec 20, 2017: Star cricketer Virat Kohli has replaced Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan as India’s top-ranking celebrity brand, according to a report by a valuation advisor.
In the 2017 report titled ‘Rise of the Millennials: India’s Most Valuable Celebrity Brands’, Duff & Phelps said that Kohli topped the list with brand value of $144 million, followed by actors Shah Rukh ($106 million), Deepika Padukone ($93 million), Akshay Kumar ($47 million) and Ranveer Singh ($42 million).
Duff & Phelps, a global valuation and corporate finance advisor, published the third edition of its annual study of celebrity brand values in India.
“For the first time since we began publishing our rankings, Shah Rukh Khan has slipped from the top ranking and been replaced by Virat Kohli. Kohli is now the first choice of brands to engage and attract consumers, fueled by his extraordinary on-field performances and off-field charisma,” Varun Gupta, Duff & Phelps Managing Director and Region Leader — India, Japan and Southeast Asia, said in a statement.
