Border issues with India contained, focus should be on bilateral cooperation: Chinese Foreign Minister

Addressing a press conference at the ongoing National People's Congress (NPC), China's legislature, Foreign Minister Wang Yin said that some progress has been made in the border issues with India and the matter as of now is 'Contained'.

He talked of the cooperation of the two Asian giants 'for the early revitalization of two ancient civilizations, common prosperity of the two emerging markets and amicable co-existence of two large neighbors.'

Recalling the successful visit of China's President Xi Jinping to India last year, the Foreign Minister said that a warm welcome awaits Prime Minister Narendra Modi in China when he visits the country later this year.
