The same Roshan is now fighting a battle against corruption with his own party. The ticket distribution for the upcoming MCD (Municipal Corporation of Delhi) elections have made AAP famous for all the wrong reasons and has brought a massive unrest among its hardcore volunteer base. Roshan Falwaria also has been raising his voice against the massive selling of tickets by AAP leaders since weeks and now has also decided to contest MCD elections.
Last month, Roshan protested against his own AAP leaders in an unprecedented way. He along with his wife and kids sat on a Dharna outside AAP Ministers Satyender Jain and Gopal Rai for almost a week with all his belongings with a plea to urge the AAP Ministers to buy his household belongings so that he can pay the quoted ticket price to Madipur MLA Girish Soni.
To normalize the negative perception and media attention created by him throughout the Dharna, Roshan was called for a negotiation and it was promised to him that all the matters will be given heed and introspected thoroughly. However, it all went into vain and ended in empty rhetorics of the typical politicians.
Recently, Roshan Lal produced a video showcasing his two kids speaking about their father's honest commitment towards the party and ill-usage of the loyalty of their father.
The video demonstrates that with the involvement of common man in building the party, not only the volunteer but the entire family of the man comes into the effect of malice spell.
Newsgram contacted Roshan Lal Falwaria to know the series of malpractices in the Madipur Vidhan Sabha related to the MCD elections.
"My MLA, Girish Soni is absolutely corrupt. The people who constituted Madipur Vidhan sabha are nowhere to be seen in the party now." Roshan from Madipur Vidhan Sabha told Newsgram.
Roshan further told Newsgram, "I was asked 25 Lakhs for the MCD ticket (Baakio ke liye 30 lakh rupiyaa or aapke liye 25 lakh rupiya)".
Previously, in the story of unlawful distribution of MCD tickets, we learned that Abha Mittal from Madipur Vidhan Sabha was solicited a bribe of 2 crores for the MCD ticket.
Roshan has been serving the Aam Aadmi Party even before its inception, and despite living in rented accommodation he financed AAP at the cost of his children's education and his business.
The party professed honesty and Anti-corruption propagandas in the initial days of its formation nevertheless when asked to Roshan Falwaria, the core AAP volunteer about the preaching of AAP, he refuted each one of them saying, "I have not observed any principles until now which the party professed earlier during its struggle years."
"Gopal Rai, the Rural Minister of AAP Govt now fails to recognize me despite having cordial relation with him in the past." He further said.
"Kejriwal applauded me in front of everybody for my contributions to build AAP structure in the assembly and campaigning for AAP but now things have soared oddly" states Falwariya.
He further wails by saying, "When my daughter went to meet Kejriwal urging him to meet me while I was on Dharna for illicit practices of ticket distribution, nobody was there to listen to her cries. I kept sitting in front of his house for almost a week, but none of the ministers approach me to pay heed to the woes, not even Arvind Ji!"
Roshan Falwariya is now considering to contest MCD elections.
