This year's auto expo was over just a few days ago and one thing which attracted everyone was the electric cars. There were several models which attracted the eyes of all the spectators in the expo. Not only are these cars famous for being environment-friendly but are also fastly becoming the latest trend in India.

After the 2018 auto expo, there is little doubt about the fact that electric cars are definitely going to be the future of Indian automobile huge hit industry. Electric cars in India are expected to become a huge hit, and even though the government is not planning on making any new policies regarding them, the craze about them enough to stop the industry from imploding.

BMW i3 is one of the best electric cars which were unveiled during the Auto-expo 2018. The BMW i3s has a high output 181 bhp electric motor and zero emissions. This car made heads turn in the auto expo and is said to be one of the best models BMW could've released for the electric car's enthusiast Indians.

Hyundai Ioniq

Hyundai Ioniq was displayed at the Delhi Auto Expo 2018. However, this electric car is still under considerations for release in India. The Ioniq will help Hyundai is working out an affordable EV for the Indian market. It can go from 0-100kmph time in 10.2 seconds, with a top speed rated at 165 km/h with a range of 280km.
