Swami Vivekananda was one of the tallest person the world has ever seen in the last few centuries. He was a monk, a patriot, an excellent orator, and a lifelong Karmayogi, who dedicated each and every second of his adult life for the sake of country, its people, and Sanatana Dharma.

His life’s mission was to see India and its people rise and reclaim its past glory. His work aimed at uplifting the poor and establishing of Dharma. His call for action, his call for strength and renouncement of weakness not only led the foundation for India’s freedom struggle, but also showed the path which Indians must travel to attain progress and well-being.

Today is 153rd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and the whole country rightly celebrates it as National Youth India. Swami Vivekananda firmly believed that the nation’s youth held the key for solving various problems facing India. He repeatedly gave the call for the youths to awake, arise, and work for the nation and its people.

Here are the twelve quotes that summarizes Swami Vivekananda’s message for the Youth.

“I have faith in my country, and especially in the youth of my country. My hope is in you. With an immense amount of feeling and enthusiasm in the blood, will come heroes who will march from one corner of the earth to the other, preaching and teaching the eternal spiritual truths of our forefathers.”
