The Tweed family in UK with a combined age of 1,019 years and 336 days have set the record for world's oldest family in the Guinness Book of World Records this week.

The family of 12 comprises of seven brothers and five sisters, with the siblings being brought up in Coventry, England, who are aged between 76 and 95 and between them they have 33 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren, The Mirror reported.

Last November the world record was officially recognized when the siblings' combined age totaled 1,019 years and 336 days – and the family was presented with their official certificate from the Guinness Book of World Records this week.

A 1939 photo shows the family with their mum Flo and dad Percy, who had a total of 16 children then.
