New Delhi: Delhiites will have to pay more for their power from Monday as the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission has decided to raise the power tariff by up to six percent, it was announced on Friday.

Consumers of BSES Yamuna and Rajdhani will pay six percent more while consumers of NDPL will have to pay four percent more, an official said.

People living in the NDMC area will pay five percent more.

The power discoms in the capital had sought a hike in the power tariff attributing it to power purchase adjustment. (IANS)
