Thungon gets jail term for corruption

New Delhi: A special court here on Monday sentenced former union minister P.K. Thungon to four-and-a-half years in jail in a 1998 corruption case.

Special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) judge Ajay Kumar Jain also slapped a fine of Rs.10,000 on him.
