Hike in DTC drivers’ salaries

On Monday, CM Arvind Kejriwal announced that salaries of all Delhi Transport Coporation (DTC) contractual drivers would be hiked by Rs. 2,500 to Rs.4,000.

September onwards, there will be a hike in salaries. From Rs.4 to Rs. 5 per km per month for up to 2,250 km. And drivrs driving more than 2,250 km per month would be paid Rs. 6 per km. Moreover, the government would come up with awards for best drivers and conductors.
