Ghaziabad: The city police of Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad district is on high alert in order to foil any attempts at communal violence.

Police sources said on Friday that a process to identify anti-social elements had been launched in the district that borders Delhi.

Briefing station officers of all police stations, the Ghaziabad Police chief explained how to control violent mobs. The mob controlling weaponry was used during the training session.

"Time to time we should mobilize our resources, and this practice was a part of it" said Superintendent of Ghaziabad Police, Ajay Pal.
