Naga woman dies, falls from Delhi building

New Delhi: Three people from Nagaland, one woman and two men, fell from terrace of a building in Delhi, as reported by police. The woman was declared dead after she was taken to the hospital and the men were reported as injured. The accident happened in Delhi's Krishna Nagar.

"The PCR received a call at 3:50 AM that three people were lying in an unconscious condition in a lane of Krishna Nagar. On arrival of police team, it was found that one lady and two men had fallen from a building," said South District Police Deputy Commissioner Prem Nath.

"While the lady had died at the spot, the two men received severe injuries," he added.
The woman is identified as Lovili from Nagaland, while the two men, Robert and Jacob-both 24 are from Manipur.

The two men are admitted to the AIIMS. While the Naga people representatives and NGOs are informed to receive the body of the woman after the post-mortem examination, the official said.

Amit Gupta, spokesperson for AIIMS, said all three of them were brought to the hospital at 4.30 AM.

"While the lady was declared dead on arrival, the other two have been admitted to the trauma centre ICU," he said. He said that Robert has suffered internal injuries, while Jacob suffered only a few bone fractures.
