New Delhi: Now users of Hike messenger will be able to access the country's second largest messaging app in native Indian languages like Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Bengali, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu after it announced a new update in this regard. The updated app with the support of these regional Indian languages has become available from December 23 and is live for Android phones.

Here are the new features:

1. Multi-lingual interface: The users now will be able to select the language of the app as soon as they open it for the first time.

2. Multi-lingual keyboard: Another feature includes support to 9 languages by the app keyboard. The glide functionality that allows to swap between different keyboards and predictive text technology make it easy for the users to text in their own languages.

3. Native stickers: Those who like to express themselves in social platforms will appreciate Hike's decision providing support for stickers in native languages, giving the user a new look.

"Today, we're excited to launch hike in 8 local languages. For the first time ever millions of Indians will be able to seamlessly chat in their local languages only on hike," Kavin Mittal, CEO and Founder, Hike Messenger, reportedly said.

With 70 million active users currently, Hike recently announced hike direct feature allowing users to share and chat with the internet.
