Coldplay signed guitar to be auctioned in Mumbai

New Delhi: After the latest hit, "Hymn for the weekend", released by the band Coldplay, another exciting event for the sale of the guitar signed by the band is taking place.

The charity auction, The Idea of India, is hosted by the actor Rahul Bose on February 19 in Mumbai.

According to a statement, the British band donated a special guitar for the auction, signed by the team members Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion.

The signed guitar is the only international piece of memorabilia that will be auctioned along with 11 other pieces donated by some major and noteworthy Indian heroes and legends.

Coldplay had been surprising Indians, beginning with their impromptu performance in Delhi, meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and their recent video shot in Mumbai for the "Hymn for the weekend" depicting colorful and eventful India.

Bollywood actress, Sonam Kapoor, also featured in Coldplay's video dressed in a beautiful Indian attire.
