Mumbai, Sep 27 : Reality TV star Siddharth Bhardwaj says superstar Salman Khan pushed him to dump his unhealthy lifestyle and get back in shape.

After his stint in showbiz, the former "MTV Splitsvilla" winner and "Bigg Boss" contestant had turned into a DJ and included more of junk food and alcohol in his diet, read a statement.

"I was really unfit and was leading an erratic lifestyle. I used to miss my previous shape but was lethargic to get it back," Siddharth said.

"I finally got a reality check from Salman 'bhai' and I can easily say that he was the one whose words inspired me to kick fat out of my system. It feels like a new life altogether," he added.

He says he has started doing theatre again.(ians)
