July 2021, earns notice as it has been declared the hottest month in recorded history as per the global data released by the NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information.

The temperature of the ocean surface and global land has been recorded as one degree Celsius hotter than the average that has been recorded in the 20^th century, which is 15.8c, which makes it the hottest month that has been recorded since record-keeping was initiated 142 years ago.

The earlier record that was set in July 2016, as per the National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration, NOAA, has been surpassed by this new record.

As per the statements of the administrator of NOAA, Rick Spinrad, this enviable record is a fact that adds to the destructive and disturbing path of climatic changes that the earth is heading towards. July, generally being the hottest month of the year, it has generated a sense of red alert to the humanity regarding the adverse climatic changes that are taken place in the atmosphere.

Previous month's record has denoted the highly soaring temperature all over the globe, with Asia being the continent experiencing the extreme weather.

Europe has been witnessing scorching heat waves generated from the devastating wildfires that lit in Greece and Italy, which were again contributing to the extremism. The continent's hottest climate recorded was on Wednesday at Sicily, where it reached a roasting heat of 48.8C.

Western regions of North America have been hit with sever wildfire, extreme heat and droughts, which made the continent reach the 6^th hottest July on record.

Australia has witnessed its fourth hottest July this year. Africa and Oceania had their 10^th warmest July.

The climate report released by NOAA has discovered that the ice extent in the Arctic sea was exceeding 18% below average in between 1981 to 2010, which had diminished to the fourth smallest after satellite records started in 1979.

These reactions are forcing the earth towards a devastating climatic breakdown which can be repaired by intense and rapid measures that can cut down the emissions and pollutions by following eco-friendly patterns in everyday life.

According to Spinrad, the IPCC report confirms that the impacts caused are wide spread and intensifying. It has also been stated by him that up-to-date assessments of the ways in which the climatic conditions have been changing was conducted and it is a sobering fact that human activities are unequivocally causing the climate change.
