Grocery Store Tour: Between sophisticated marketing strategies and confusing nutritional labels, navigating the supermarket and making healthy choices is difficult for most people. Now imagine having the extra burden of specific dietary restrictions - like diabetes.

Hackensack Meridian Health dieticians want to help - by sharing simple swaps when grocery shopping, that can aid in the management of blood sugar and reduce diabetes-related complications.

They are teaming up with the registered dieticians at ShopRite to offer monthly, group classes & store tours for patients of the Molly Diabetes Education and Management Center at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Join the experts as the supermarket aisles become a classroom & learn how to compare products to make healthier food choices that can support health goals - all while cutting costs!

This knowledge has never been more important as the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) projects the number of people living with diabetes to rise to 643 million by 2030 and 783 million by 2045.
