The girl whose Facebook post went viral within a couple of hours and got her "harasser" behind bars, has been promised legal aid by DCW (Delhi Commission for Women)

The DCW chairperson, Swati Maliwal met Jasleen Kaur, the girl who posted a picture of a Sarvjeet Singh for harassing her. Kaur submitted the FIR along with her statement that her political affiliation with Aam Aadmi Party is being used to divert the entire case.

The commission has registered her case and has asked for the details. DCW chairperson even tweeted on Monday in favour of Ms. Kaur "Congratulations Jasleen for taking a bold step n getting ur FIR registered. The man has been arrested. Delhi needs strong women like u."

Jasleen Kaur's post went viral on Monday, wherein the post elicited Singh's bike number, photo and harsh censure against him. The post led to the arrest of the "harasser" who later accused Ms. Kaur of her political affiliation and that being a driving force for her complaint.
