Pakistan ahead of India by 10 nuclear warheads; should India be worried?

A new Nuclear Notebook Interactive Infographic by Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists shows that Pakistan with 120 atomic weapons has 10 more nuclear war heads than India.

Nuclear Notebook which has been tracking the type and amount of world`s nuclear arsenal since 1987, for public interest is published by the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists founded in 1945 by University of Chicago scientists who had helped develop the first atomic weapons in the Manhattan Project. The infographic is a visual representation of the Nuclear Notebook.

According to the infographic, the United States and Russia both have about 5,000 weapons each, France has 300, China 250, the United Kingdom 225 and Israel 80.

The notebook shows a decline in the number of warheads from 65,000 in late 1980s to a little over 10,000, but now, more countries have them.
