Kohraa(1964)
An adaptation of Daphne du Maurier's 1938 novel 'Rebecca', Kohraa has several chilling moments which will keep you at the edge of your seat. The film's climax scene is especially a must watch. Ek Thi Daayan was certainly something new in the field of horror. It is a cross between a horror film and a paranormal thriller. The supernatural drama may seem unrealistic but the spine tingling scenes and the well developed story line makes up for it And not to mention Konkona Sen's portrayal of a 'daayan' which is eerie in all sense.
