Jammu, Apr 4, 2017: The Pakistan Army on Tuesday used small arms and mortars to target Indian Army positions on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district, the army said.

“The Pakistan Army initiated indiscriminate firing at 11 a.m. on Indian posts along the LoC in Bhimber Ghali sector,” Defence Ministry spokesman Lt Col Manish Mehta said.

The Indian Army retaliated “strongly and effectively”, the officer said. Intermittent firing was still on. (IANS)
