Center issues another LoC in NRI Matrimonial case. Pixabay

The Ministry of Women and Child Development (WCD) on Tuesday said it has decided to issue another Look-out Circular (LoC) in a NRI matrimonial dispute.

The Ministry also decided to impound the passport of one person as per provisions of the Passport Act related to the matter.

On 10 February 2018, the Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists barged into the camp of the 36 brigade of the Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry and started firing indiscriminately. The terrorists managed to sneak into the camp from the rear end of the base after a brief exchange of fire with the sentry guarding the periphery. The Sunjwan attack resulted in the death of five Army men, including two junior commissioned officers (JCOs), and the father of a soldier.

The attacks on Indian military bases in Sunjwan, Uri and Pathankot are not routine militancy. They replicate the acts of war. Without reacting in a knee-jerk manner to the terror attack, the Indian Army will come up with a befitting reply, the like of one which army gave after Uri attack.

Jammu, May 3, 2017: Last week on Monday at 8:30 am, two Indian soldiers along with their captain were killed after Pakistani terrorists attacked an army camp in Kupwara.

The soldiers who were killed, trapped and ambushed were Naib Subedar Paramjeet Singh, an army soldier, and Prem Sagar, a Border Security Force constable. Indian army’s Northern command reported that Pakistan used rockets and mortar bombs on 2 posts along Line of Control where these soldiers were patrolling.
