The Aam Aadmi Party has strongly condemned the false media reports speculation about AAP veteran and ombudsman Admiral L Ramdas. The Party has termed these reports as false, misleading and based on fiction done with a malicious intent.

A section of the media today reported that Admiral Ramdas could face heat from his colleagues in the coming days as a section of the party leadership feels his controversial letter lamenting differences acted as a catalyst to the public spat between leaders. Media reports stated that Ramdas had addressed a scathing letter to AAP's national executive a day ahead of its meeting on February 26, expressing anguish over the growing divide and trust deficit between the senior leadership.

Clarifying its stand regarding Admiral Ramdas, AAP has outrightly rejected all frustrated attempts to drag his name into controversy and termed those reports as unfortunate and against all ethics. Admiral Ramdas will continue to be an important guide for the party as it prepares to take on new responsibilities and challenges.

"The party considers it a privilege to have been able to convince Admiral Ramdas to take over the role of its ombudsman and will be always thankful to him for having agreed to render his services for this critical role. Admiral Ramdas will continue to be an important guide for the party as it prepares to take on new responsibilities and challenges," AAP said in a press statement today.
