Standing firm to its promise, the AAP government on Tuesday said that it would work towards the regularisation of the national capital's unauthorised colonies. The party has assured that in its first step, it will initiate the work like boundary fixation and asking the MCD to prepare layout plans for such colonies.

Addressing a press conference here, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said: "We are dedicated towards regularising the irregular colonies by fixing their boundaries and asking the MCDs (Municipal Corporation of Delhi) to prepare a layout plan for such colonies."

Sisodia added that "once the boundary fixation process ends up, the registry work of unauthorised colonies will also be done".

If AAP gets these colonies regularised, it will be a big achievement for the party because rest of the political parties have only been dragging it as an election issue.
