HAF invites applications for Bhutanese American Community Grant Program

In order to support the Bhutanese Hindus working towards maintaining their religion, culture and traditions through their relocation in America, the Hindu American Foundation (HAF), announced the launch of Bhutanese American Community Grant Program.

With the help of its supporters, HAF will grant a $8,000 scholarship, which would be distributed in the form of multiple grants, to help the Bhutanese Hindu community throughout the country.

A few of the project or program examples are:

  • Obtaining a space for religious assemblage and social services
  • Constructing pro-bono legal service programs
  • Job and skills training programs
  • Administering supplemental classes/tutoring services for youth and adults

It is a one-year grant, which also holds a possibility of renewal if the work done during the time remains flawless.
