Long rule by the opposition parties have transformed the Municipal Corporation of Delhi into dens of corruption and misgovernance. After sweeping the State Assembly polls, the Aam Aadmi Party intends to repeat its resounding victory in municipal elections as well.

For ensuring such a remarkable feat, the party has decided to run a sustained campaign to expose BJP's corruption and misgovernance in municipal bodies.

The Delhi State unit of the Aam Aadmi Party convened a meeting at the Constitutional Club, which saw the participation of the state and district level office bearers, along with office bearers of frontal organizations and cells.

Addressing the gathering of office bearers, Delhi State Convenor Dilip Pandey laid out an aggressive strategy of how ward-level units of the Aam Aadmi Party will swing into action to expose and corner councilors, thereby holding them accountable for their misdeeds.

"Stories of monumental corruption by the BJP will reach every household in the city", said Pandey

National Organization Building In-Charge Durgesh Pathak, underlined the importance of smooth coordination among office bearers of various frontal organizations.

"Participation of grass-root volunteers has made Delhi unit of Aam Aadmi Party a robust organization, which stunned the country by trouncing unstoppable Narendra Modi", stated Pathak while adding that the Delhi Aam Aadmi Party will showcase itself as a model organization for other state units.

Addressing the gathering, Delhi State Secretary and MLA from Greater Kailash Saurabh Bhardwaj underlined key roles and responsibilities of the office bearers and said that their conduct in public will make or break party's image.

Office bearers told the state leadership that there was a very positive feeling on the ground on the main election promises fulfilled by the AAP government in Delhi.
