Targeting Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his ally RJD leader Lalu Prasad, Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghuvar Das on Sunday urged the people to vote for a "Nitish-Lalu mukht Bihar".

"After Prime Minister Narendra Modi ensured freedom from the corrupt Congress, it is now time to free Bihar of the jungle raj of Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad," the BJP leader said at a meeting here.

He said "a Nitish-Lalu mukt [free] Bihar" was a must if the state had to develop.

Das described Nitish Kumar as an arrogant chief minister. "People have voted him for development of Bihar but he has turned arrogant," he said.
