Modi reminisces Bal Thackeray on his birth anniversary

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to late politician Bal Thackeray on his birth anniversary. Bal Thackeray, called as 'Balasaheb' by his huge supporter base, was the founder and leader of Shiv Sena.

Marking the anniversary, Modi tweeted yesterday:

Bal Thackeray was born in Pune on January 23, 1926. The leader was the biggest political face in Maharashtra over the period of many years. His political life was controversial at times because of the ideology but the leader was much respected among the political scene of the India.
