National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, speaking at 62nd convocation ceremony of the IIT Madras on July 11, 2025, addressed Operation Sindoor conducted on May 15, 2025, targeting terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, and denied foreign media claims of damage to Indian infrastructure.

Doval rejected claims of any harm to India by Pakistan, stating, “Foreign media claimed Pakistan caused damage to India. I challenge anyone to show a single photo or image of any Indian structure damaged — even a broken glass pane.” He clarified that these claims, primarily from certain international outlets, falsely suggested vulnerabilities in India’s infrastructure following Operation Sindoor. Doval emphasized that the operation, executed with precision by the Indian Air Force, targeted only terrorist facilities and caused no collateral damage to Indian assets. He further noted that intelligence reports confirmed the operation’s success in disrupting terror networks, and no credible evidence supported the foreign media’s assertions, which he described as attempts to escalate tensions.

He outlined the operation’s objective to counter terrorist threats and referenced the Army Commanders’ Conference in Delhi on July 7–8, 2025, the first meeting after Operation Sindoor. The conference focused on improving operational responsiveness, logistics, and combat preparedness to address security challenges.

Doval also announced plans to indigenize communication systems, stating, “We will fully indigenize our communication systems to ensure data protection and meet security needs.” This aims to reduce reliance on foreign technology and strengthen national security.

Doval also mentioned discussions on strategic cooperation during the India-UK Strategic Dialogue in London from June 30 to July 1, 2025.
