Use Resilience Mods on your Armor

The amount of damage you incur when you break away from Stasis is determined on your resilience. Similar to Recovery, the amount of damage you absorb decreases exponentially as your resilience increases. Damage reduction reaches 90 resilience at which point Stasis outbreaks deal about 5% of your total health. Although this will not affect how quickly you may break out of Stasis, folks who are frequently killed after breaking free may choose to add a few resilience Mods to their armor.

Fight from a safer distance

The majority of Stasis abilities have a small radius of impact. Grenades take time to travel, the Warlock's Penumbral Blast can only reach a range of 22 meters, and the Hunter's Winter's Shroud Aspect only works if you're inside Shotgun range. In any case, apply pressure by approaching an opponent and forcing a response.

Hunter dodges turn off all ability tracking while you're in the animation, so projectiles like Coldsnap Grenades and the Warlock's Penumbral Blast won't track you after you dodge. Stasis missiles are absorbed and redirected by Titan Barricades, causing Coldsnap fissures to crawl up the Barricade before dissipating. Finally, because to the Healing Rift's regeneration effect, Warlock Rifts can make recovering from a Stasis outbreak a breeze. If you know an attacker is about to peak around a corner and freeze you, drop an Empowering Rift and one-tap them to the body with an Aggressive-Frame Sniper Rifle.

Find a good strategy

When you don't commit to a strategy, it's difficult to break free from Stasis. The PvP meta in Beyond Light has transitioned to either being hyper-aggressive or conservative. Both strategies are viable in their own right, but attempting to implement them simultaneously will result in disaster. When facing a Stasis-wielding opponent, pushing players with minimal thought equals death. Playing from afar will also test your patience and make you want to push, which will result in a Stasis player punishing you. Don't second-guess your strategy and stick to it. Make the Stasis player, not the other way around, adjust to your playstyle.
